Art Work Guidelines
Our knowledgeable art department is fully equipped and able to handle any design issue and work closely with you to find solutions for your artwork. We use Macintosh computers for all projects and we
have the CS2 and CS3 Suites to accommodate most situations.
Please refer to the following guidelines when sending your artwork to us -
|
- • Email your artwork to: design@coloradolabel.com
- • Export or save graphic files as Adobe Illustrator cs2 A1 files, If possible
- • Save final photo images at 300 ppi. TIF and High Resolution jpg files work best, although we can accommodate other file types
- • Avoid jpg files taken from websites. They are usually very low resolution, and not suitable for high quality printing
- • Please avoid creating type in imaging programs (Photoshop, Paint, etc.) Convert fonts to outlines for maximum compatibility
- • Projects will print in colors as designed, including Pantone colors. Please DO NOT change elements built in Pantone colors to CMYK. Our RIP will do that if necessary
- • Please send all the screen and printer fonts used to create your artwork
- • Specify Pantone colors whenever possible
- • Please ask us! We might already have the die size that you need in stock, or one very close to it. We also can create unique die shapes and sizes if desired
- • Please send us a sample label if available
- • PDF soft-proofs will be emailed to you for your approval
